Structure Function -- NMS

  • Upper extremity. The LRP should be in the post.

  • Cranial nerves
  • Peripheral nervous system

Practical Osteopathic Skills -- Technique

  • Seated cervico-thoracic -- anterior, posterior, rotation, sidebending (a.k.a. translation).
  • Seated acromio-clavicular joint exam -- pt rubs hands together, shrugs. Palpate from behind.
  • Supine long lever AC joint exam.
  • Supine short lever AC joint exam.
  • Supine long lever AC joint manipulation.
  • Supine short lever AC joint manipulation.
  • Supine short and long lever sterno-clavicular joint exam.
  • Side-lying GH joint exam -- flex, extend, abduct, small amount of adduction, circumduction. (Also, horizontal extension?)
  • Side-lying GH joint treatment -- traction, distraction, push superiorly. Distraction has two holds: one with pt arm straight, one with pt arm bent.
  • Erm any more..?
